We are sad to announce that on May 15, 2019 we had to say goodbye to Elsie Winter (Galva, Illinois), born in Annawan, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Emma Powell (DeVrieze); and her siblings, Virgil Powell, Howard Powell, Catherine Powell and Grace Taets.
She is survived by: her husband Irvin K. Winter; her daughters, Debbie Johnson (Ed) of Kewanee, Jane Riggs (Dave) of Sheffield and Donna Nigh (Mike) of Port Orange, FL; her grandchildren, Amber Biggs (Ryan) of Peoria, Heather Riggs (Adam Wold) of Chicago, Steven Johnson of Metamora, Michelle Johnson Nashville and Dakota Nigh of Port Orange, FL; and her sister Margaret Coppejans of Annawan. She is also survived by many sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Galva Fire Department or to the Galva American Legion.
