He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Warner and Nancy Warner (Huffman); and his siblings, James (Darlene), Carl, Marvin (Bonnie), Marian and Evelyn Bates (Elwyn "Bud").
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Johnson; his children, Mark Warner (Cathy) of Galva and Michelle Mersman (Rob) of Galva; his grandchildren, Jacob (Taylor) of Pekin, Courtney Anderson (Brandon) of Galva and Taylor of Galva; and his brother-in-law Edward Johnson (Sue) of Old Hickory, TN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to the Galva First United Methodist Church or to the Galva Lions Club.
