It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Keith England of Galva, Illinois, who passed away on December 24, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Keith A. England and Miriam A. England (Eck); his former wife LaWanda I. Dempsey; his wife Peggy Ann Shields; and his brothers, Eugene and David England.
He is survived by: his children, Michael E. England of Scottsdale, AZ, Karen S. Hawkins (Jack) of Bishop Hill and Maradell I. Peters (Perry) of Phoenix, AZ; his grandchildren, Sheriess Croke (Tom), Lane Redmon (Jason), Matthew England, Carlee Hawkins, Craig Hawkins (Tammy) and Curtis Hawkins; and his great grandchildren, Viola Croke and Barrett Redmon.
Memorials may be directed to the First United Methodist Church in Galva or to the Alzheimer's Association.
