He was predeceased by: his parents, William Collister and Alice Collister (Eckley); his wife Florence L. Smith; and his uncle Dale Eckley. He is survived by: his aunt Wilodeen Eckley; his siblings, James Collister and Mary Kraus; his nieces and nephews, Terry, Russel, Darryl Krause, Tammy Natof (David) and Diane Dobbles (Lanny); and his stepchildren, Dale Peterson of Galesburg, David Peterson of Galva and Kris Peterson of Prescott, AZ. He is also survived by four great nephews, a great niece, four step-grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the First Baptist Church in Galva.
