We are sad to announce that on January 14, 2021, at the age of 95, Donald Bates of Galva, Illinois, born in Kewanee, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Bates and Feryl Swearingen Bates; and his grandson Levi Baysinger. He is survived by: his wife Marian E. Yarger; his children, Eileen Neuhalfen, Donald E. Bates, Leslie, Gary Bates and James Bates; his siblings, Earl, Dewey, Lloyd, Elwyn and Lois; his daughter Janice Baysinger; and his grandson Michael Mitro. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and a great great grandchild.
