With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virgi Lynn Cox of Galesburg, Illinois, who passed away on May 31, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Virgi's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Virgi has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Lopeman and Joan Lopeman; her brother Mark Lopeman; and her stepson Darren Cox. She is survived by: her husband Toby Cox of Galesburg; her children, Todd Anders of Davenport, IA and Carrie Gibbons (Eric Johnson) of Galesburg; her stepson Michael; her great grandchild Nash Gibbons; and her sister Jenny Sue Ennis of Galesburg.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses and left in the care of the funeral home.
