It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valerie Kay Duerre of Galesburg, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on July 1, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Stanley and Dolores Stanley (Friday); her stepfather Chester Banks; her son Jeremy Duerre; and her sister Carole Stull.
She is survived by: her husband Steven Duerre of Galesburg; her children, Justin Duerre of Galesburg and Tracey Richardson of Clermont, Florida; her stepdaughter Joy Schnedler of Dallas City, Illinois; her grandsons, Brayden of Clermont, Michael of Clermont and Noah of Clermont; her brothers, Bill Stanley of Arizona, Roger Stanley of Galesburg and Kevin Banks of Apple Valley, California; and also Melissa Gallinger (Doug) of Knox, Indiana..
