He was predeceased by: his parents, John Paul and Lennie Vorine Simpson (Scarbrough); his wife Tamson G. Pratt; and his granddaughter Monarae. He is survived by: his sons, Thomas Simpson, Jr. (Michele) of Pinellas Park, Christopher Simpson (Pam) of Galesburg and Wesley J. Simpson (Donna) of Dearborn Heights, Michigan; his sister Carol McCall of Abingdon, Illinois; and his stepchildren, Melody Shropshire of Florida, Michele Moore, Jr. (Tom) of Florida, Shane Moore (Karen) of Florida, Cindy Pugh (Earl) of Florida, Christine Lofgren of Dahinda and Steve Goff of Abingdon, Illinois.. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-granddaughters.
