With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Terry Cole Sr. of Galesburg, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 31, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Otis and Nellie Florine Cole (Rhoades); and his siblings, Laurena "Sissy" Cole, Leonard Cole, LeLand Cole and Otis "Buddy" Cole.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra "Sandi" Plunkett; his son Terry Cole Jr. of Galesburg; his granddaughters, Robyn Warner (Bryce DeJaynes) of Gilson, IL, Jessica Engle (Michael) of Bettendorf and Megan Cole of Galesburg; his great grandchildren, Caiden, Peyton, Lucas, Daxton, Nathan and Adeline; his brother Paul Cole of Texas; and his nieces, Sherry Stapleton and Patricia Tucker (Martin).
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the American Legion (749 Henderson Rd, Knoxville, IL 61448). The military honors will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 1:15 PM at the same location.
