She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hicks and Marjorie Hicks (Dixon); and her brother Michael Hicks. She is survived by: her children, Jason Searl (Chrissy) of Wichita, Jodi Searl (Scott) of Vero Beach, Florida., Jennifer Palleschi (Jeff) of Vero Beach, Florida., Greg Kirchgessner (Beth) of Abingdon and Gayla Hicks (Dan) of Galesburg; her husband Dan Kirchgessner; and her sister-in-law Cheryl Hicks Johnson of Alpha, Illinois. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
