Steven H. Youngquist Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Steven H. Youngquist of Galesburg, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 30, 2025 at the age of 70. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Steven H. Youngquist to pay them a last tribute.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ronald Youngquist and Willadene Youngquist (Sprout) of Monmouth; his wife Christine Fritz; his children, Zack Youngquist (Jaclyn) of Monmouth, IL, Hannah Dingman (Ben) of Rock Island, IL and Carissa Powell (Preston) of Overland Park, KS; his grandchildren, Charlotte Youngquist, Maxwell Dingman, Archer Powell, Vaeyah Dingman and Eloise Powell; his sisters, Ronadene Bogener (Bill) of Rio, IL and Annie Christian of Monmouth, IL; and his siblings-in-law, Janet Collopy of Williamsfield, IL., Gary Christian and Randy Fritz. He was also cherished by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and cherished friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lake Bracken Country Club Clubhouse (1036 Sunny Knoll Dr, Galesburg, IL 61401). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory (1007 North G Street, Monmouth, IL 61462).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Steve and Chris Youngquist Memorial Fund, and the children will disburse the contributions to causes that were near and dear to Steve's heart.
