We bid farewell to Shirley J. Frakes of Galesburg, Illinois, born in Colchester, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 31, 2024 at the age of 93. Shirley touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Franklin and Ruth Elizabeth Rammage (Keithley); her brother Richard L. Rammage; and her granddaughter Savannah Peck. She is survived by: her son William Peck of Galesburg; her grandchildren, Alex Peck and Ainsley West (Michael); her nieces and nephews, Steven Rammage of Galesburg, Frank Rammage of Galesburg, Micky Rammage of Abingdon, Illinois, Beth Rammage-McLaren of Gilson, Theresa Rammage-Bryan of Abingdon, Crystal Rammage of Naples and Laurie Rammage of Galesburg; and her cousin Steve (Cindy Keithley). She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Watson-Thomas Funeral Home & Crematory (1849 N Seminary St, Galesburg, IL 61401). A burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Auburn Cemetery.
