It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelley G. Winkler of Galesburg, Illinois, born in Knoxville, Illinois, who passed away on July 31, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi C. Nelson and Merle B. Nelson (West); her sisters, Marsha Arnold and Polly Guerin; her niece Dana Guerin; and her nephew Christopher Kaden.
She is survived by: her husband Richard L. Winkler; her son Ricki Winkler (Ellen) of Galesburg; her grandchildren, Corissa, Valkyrie, Cannon, Valencia and Chevelle; and her sisters, Alfreda Bowan (Jerry) of Galesburg and Patricia Lavely (Chris) of Galesburg. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions left in her name may be made to the animal rescue/shelter of the donor's choice.
