He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer VanTreese and Evelyn VanTreese (Hartsook); and his siblings, Art Johnson and Sharon Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Zachary VanTreese of Galesburg and Yvette Heatherly (Tim) of Galesburg; his sisters, Jewell VanTreese of California and Evelyn VanTreese of Asheville; and his grandchildren, Sydney Howerton, Ivy Lovell, TJ Heatherly and DJ Heatherly. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
