The passing of Robert K. Swanson of Galesburg, Illinois leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 15, 2025 at the age of 88. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Robert shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Robert farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Swanson and Pansy Swanson (Jackson); and his fiancée Nancy Whitby. He is survived by: his children, Steve (Irene), Theresa (Greg), Bobbi (Steve) and Farren (Cecil); and his stepdaughter Kelly Reed. He is also survived by brother, a sister, nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, several stepchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West, Inc. (1070 W Fremont St, Galesburg, IL 61401). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
