He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Rogers, and Patsy A. Rogers, Sr. (Dawson); his uncle Kenny Rogers; his aunt Joyce Clarke; and his sister-in-law Jackie Rogers.
He is survived by: his former wife Cynthia S. Carrigan; his wife Cynthia "Cindy" Rogers of Galesburg; his sons, Robert Rogers, III of Abingdon and Elias Rogers of Galesburg; his siblings, Alan of Abingdon, Russell of Galesburg, Scott of Galesburg, Robbie Guerrero (Juan) of Tallahassee and Patti Jo Rogers of Galesburg; and his stepdaughters, Katelyn Carrigan (Tim Shotts) of Knoxville and Karen Upchurch (Brandon) of Kokomo, Indiana. He is also survived by two grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; one uncle; two aunts; several nieces and nephews; and many cousins and extended family.
