She was predeceased by: her parents, Dwight W. Beaty and Eileen B. Beaty (Cadwalader); her husband Gilbert R. Maple, Sr.; her stepson Gilbert Maple, Jr.; her brother Harold Beaty; and her grandson Paul Edwards.
She is survived by: her brother Frank Beaty (Judie) of Bloomington, Illinois; her stepdaughter Patricia Edwards (Larry) of Washington, Illinois; her stepdaughter-in-law Mary Ann Maple of Medina, Minnesota; and her grandsons, Nathan Edwards (Jennifer), Gregory Maple (Shelly) and Jeffrey Maple (Marci). She is also survived by nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethel Baptist Church (1196 N Academy St, Galesburg, IL 61401). A burial was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Parkview Cemetery (N University St, Peoria, IL).
Memorials may be given to Bethel Baptist Church or the Galesburg Rescue Mission.
