It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Norma J. Hensley of Galesburg, Illinois, who passed away on December 28, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Earl E. Long and Rebecca K. Long (Woods); her husband Shields Hensley of Galesburg; her children, Shirley Watters of Galesburg and Wayne Hensley (Denise) of Galesburg; her grandchildren, Rebecca Rappenecker (Blake), Kyle Watters (Alicia), Matthew Hensley and Jacob Hensley; her great grandchildren, Lily, Emma and Payton; and her daughter Norma.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Watson-Thomas Funeral Home & Crematory (1849 N Seminary St, Galesburg, IL 61401). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene or to Hospice Compassus.
