It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin G. Churn of Galesburg, Illinois, who passed away on May 3, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James P. Churn and Mary Shaw (Harrison); his daughters, Shawntee Churn of Galesburg, Shawntail Churn of Galesburg and Alexandria Churn of Peoria; his siblings, Garyling Churn of Tulsa, James Churn (Arnet) of Portland, Michael Church of Galesburg, Thomas Churn of Galesburg, Marie Churn of Galesburg and Kelly Churn (John); and his stepbrother James Churn of Galesburg. He was also cherished by thirteen grandchildren.
