We are sad to announce that on September 7, 2024, at the age of 93, Max Lee Gillette of Galesburg, Illinois, born in Monmouth, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Elliott and Grace Viola Gillette (Bullwinkle); his sisters, Julia Bartlett and Kathryn Hottinger; his daughter Dorothy Clyatt (Snell); and his wife Ellie.
He is survived by: his children, Rick Snell (Rosie) of Springfield, Dennis Gillette (Kim) of Galesburg and Tina Guardalabene (Tim) of Galesburg. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
