Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mary Jo LaFollette of Galesburg, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 89, on March 21, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold V. Muzzey and Lois Leone Sipple (Woods); her son Kyle Wesley LaFollette; and her siblings, Jerry, Bill, Dennie, Kerry Muzzey, Ginger Muzzey, Sarah F. Owens and Madeline Welts.
She is survived by: her daughter Laura Sue Elliott of Galesburg; and her grandchildren, Robin LaFollette King, Rayn LaFollette, Rollin LaFollette, Christopher Elliott (Jaclyn) and Nicholas Elliott (Corine). She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West, Inc. (1070 W Fremont St, Galesburg, IL 61401). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church.
