She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Sweeney and Alma Betty Sweeney (Horn); her husband Kenny G. Barton; and her siblings, Paul Jr. "Mickey" and Kathy Andre.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jane Barton of Brookfield and Angela Barton of Galesburg; her grandchildren, Alexandria Barton-Perez, Grace Smith (Caleb), David Holzem, Beatrice Laufer and Jonathan Laufer; her great grandchild Canaan Smith; her siblings, Patrick Sweeney of Columbus, Missouri and Loretta Sweeney of Galesburg; and her in-laws, Crystal Moore of East Galesburg, Garry, Tammy Barton of Galesburg and Russell Barton of Galesburg.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West, Inc. (1070 W Fremont St, Galesburg, IL 61401). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
