With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marvin L. Baker (Galesburg, Illinois), born in Avon, Illinois, who passed away on September 1, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Baker and Hulda Baker (Stick); and his brothers, Richard Baker and Jerry Baker. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Baker of DeLong; his children, Troy Baker of DeLong and Dana Wester (Rick) of Douglasville; his sister Suzanne Fitch (Abe) of Zephyrhills; his grandchildren, Troy James Baker (Ashley), Kyla Baker, Dylan Baker (Christina), Lori Ryan (Bob) and Kari Amos (Matt); and his great grandchildren, Jackson Ryan, Adelaide Ryan, Leo Amos and Lily Amos.

Memorials may be made to the VFW Post#2257 or to the National Kidney Foundation.
