It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlene Zimmerman of Galesburg, Illinois, born in Princeton, Illinois, who passed away on February 19, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Philhower and Esther Philhower (Bangtson); her husband Gary Zimmerman; and her sister Carol. She is survived by: her children, Crystal Johnson (Lester, Jr.) of St. Augustine, Illinois and Kendall Zimmerman of Galesburg, Illinois; her grandchildren, Kyle R. Johnson (Cassandra), Kody R. Johnson (Tricia), Karisa L. Johnson (Brain Lock), Ashley M. Zimmerman, Tyler A. Zimmerman and Alexander J. Zimmerman; her great grandchildren, Owen Lock, Jentry Miller, Lucas Johnson, Kylin Lock, Ava Johnson and Dakota Johnson; and her sister Linda Reiss (Randy) of Mt. Vernon, Illinois..
