With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mark D. Blackburn of Galesburg, Illinois, who passed away on January 13, 2023 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lennis Blackburn and Jean Blackburn (Willis); and his brother David Blackburn. He is survived by: his wife Tami Blackburn of Galesburg, IL; his children, Lauren Blackburn-Williams (Jordan) of O'Fallon, IL, Holly Blackburn of O'Fallon, IL, Buddy Herron (Jessie) of Knoxville, IL, Savannah Sopher (Steven) of Abingdon, IL and Haylee Sopher of Warner Robins, GA; his grandchildren, AJ, Ava, Aria, Lane, Jade, Penelope and Jettson; his sister Becky Whitler of Carlinville; his sister-in-law Allynn Walker; and his nieces and nephews, Michellle Walter (Jeff), Laura McNeill (Tim), Luke Blackburn (Rebecca) and Greg Whitler (Danlee).
