Mabel Haines Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mabel Haines (Galesburg, Illinois), born in Panama, Illinois, who passed away on February 22, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Mabel shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mabel farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Estela Lum and Lloyd Lum; and her siblings, William Lum, Lloyd Lum and Julia Gomez.
She is survived by: her husband Sam Haines; her sisters, Min Mossman and Estela Long; and her sister-in-law Donna Medina. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
