As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Lucinda may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William H. and V. Dellene Payne, Jr. (Nelson); her daughter Nichola Sanchez Warrington; and her brothers, Victor, Jeffrey and William.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry of Galesburg; her daughter Christina Sanchez of Galesburg; and her siblings, Randy Payne of Plymouth, Illinois, Pam Powell (Rob) of Colchester, Brenda Payne of Macomb and Roberta Ault (Stan) of North Carolina. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
