He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Johnson and Beatrice Johnson (McColloch); his grandson Matthew Wayne Wilson; and his siblings, Carol Ann Johnson, Ed and Roger Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Johnson of Galesburg, Illinois; his children, Sally Wilson (Gerald) of Alexis and John Johnson (Carol) of Staunton, Virginia; and his sisters, Mary Yeast (Wendell) of Galesburg and Ileen McDorman of Galesburg, Illinois.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home - Knoxville (120 N Public Square, Knoxville, IL 61448). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
