Larry E. Walters Obituary
The memory of Larry E. Walters of Galesburg, Illinois, who passed away on January 14, 2025 at the age of 81, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. As we bid Larry farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Larry is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul R. Walters and Frances Walters (Imel); and his brother Robert A. Walters. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Anne Haynes of Galesburg; his sons, Paul Walters (Rachel) of Springfield and Mark Walters (Danielle) of Galesburg; and his grandchildren, Abigail Walters and Allison Walters.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Watson-Thomas Funeral Home & Crematory (1849 N Seminary St, Galesburg, IL 61401). The military honors will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
