He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. H. and Evelyn Berg (Nelson); his brother Wilbur Berg; and his niece Patricia Berg. He is survived by: his wife Martha Cottom; his children, Michael Berg of Victoria, Sherry Edwards-Webb (Gaylon) of Galesburg and Nicole Brandenburg (Craig) of Knoxville, Illinois; and his grandsons, Bradley, Johnathan Edwards, Jake and Lucas Brandenburg.
