She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Leon Freeman and Thelma (Clark); her siblings, Geraldine Tonkin, Patricia Hoyt, Mary Elizabeth Freeman and Michael Francis Freeman; and her stepmother Genevieve Freeman.
She is survived by: her husband Ed of Galesburg; her children, Stephen Dallas (Joyce), Patricia Adams (Dennis), Fishers, Ind, Susan Padilla, Theresa Seth (Ed), Gallatin Gateway, Mont and Rita Byrd Fishers (Lloyd); and her sisters, Ginger Stone, Bay St. Louis, Nancy Martin (Larry), Green Valley and Ariz. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Galesburg.
