With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen J. McCombs of Galesburg, Illinois, who passed away on October 10, 2023 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her stepfather Kenneth Kempster; and her aunt Shirley Morrell. She is survived by: her mother Rosalie D. Kempster (Hendricks) of Galesburg, Illinois; her son Heath Robinson of Iowa; her siblings, Becky McCombs of Abingdon, Christine Denisar of Galesburg and Larry McCombs of Maquon; her aunts, Frances Wolfe of London Mills and Dottie Davis of Knoxville; and her pets, Beep and Foxy. She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Guardian Angels Humane Society Legacy Fund or to the family in care of Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory.
