It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judy E. Hopson of Galesburg, Illinois, born in Noble, Illinois, who passed away on January 2, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Volney and Mary E. Akins Jr. (Bechdoldt); her spouse Seldon C. Hopson; and her siblings, Charles and Mary Lee.
She is survived by: her children, Terri Klick of Galesburg, Colin Dale Wampler of Peoria and Roger Lee Wampler (Monica) of Nashville, Tennessee; her siblings, Rebecca Buesking (Rick), Tom Akins (Jodi) and Jack Akins; and her sister-in-law Sondra Akins. She is also survived by six grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
