We are sad to announce that on October 22, 2023, at the age of 87, John E. Showalter of Galesburg, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Showalter and Nora Showalter (Wall); and his siblings, George Showalter, Roger Showalter, Becky Anderson and Fran Bradley.
He is survived by: his former spouses, Ellamae Deulen and Christine Caldwell; his wife Debbie Derr; his children, Steven Showalter of Maquon, Terry Showalter (Leanne) of Johnstown and Holly Triplett (Kevin) of Grand Junction; and his siblings, David Armentrout (Chris), Mike Anderson, Ellen Showalter, Ruthanne Reardon and Leota Hensley. He is also survived by two grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
