John W. Cole Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 4, 2025 we had to say goodbye to John W. Cole of Galesburg, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He is survived by: his parents, Frederick L. Cole and Jean Cole (Morss); his children, Destany Cole of Galesburg and Christopher John Beard; his siblings, Frederick K. Cole of Galesburg and Catherine Engstrom of Missouri; and his nieces, Cathy Flynt, Carissa Cokel and Caitlin Hiller.
