He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Downin and Dorothy F. Downin (Schrodt); his wife Cinda Reynolds; and his siblings, Edwin Downin and Sue Anderson.
He is survived by: his sons, Nicholas Downin (Jennee) of Galesburg and JT Downin (Kara) of East Galesburg; his grandchildren, Noah Downin, Olivia Downin, Elliot Downin, Jakob Downin, Connor Downin, Kelsie Downin and Joshua Downin; and his sister Jane Osborn of Galesburg.
Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital, Midwest Affiliate, Peoria, Illinois.
