He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen E. Swanson (Haskins) and James W. Swanson; his wife Mary; and his brothers, James and William.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jane Baird (Kevin) of Fletcher, Laura Lee (Andreas) of Boulder and Emily Swanson (Sean Buckman) of Longmont, Colorado; his granddaughters, Charlotte Lee, Beatrice Lee, Matilda Lee and Nina Basurco; and his siblings, Kerry Swanson (Debbie) of Wake Forest, Thomas Swanson (Sue), Katherine Shamon (Richard) of Bastrop, Mary Helen Davison (late Bob) of Galesburg and Ann Bennett of Galesburg. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions for Jerry may be made to the Fr JO Hunt Knights of Columbus Council 556.
