He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Marie (Sneed) and Ronald Dean Newcomb; his spouse Beverly Lynn Hays; and his son Dakota. He is survived by: his daughter Mary Elizabeth Longcor of Galesburg; and his siblings, Brian, Steven and Rhonda (Mark). He is also survived by five grandchildren.
