He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Hill (Rees) and Joseph Charles Hill. He is survived by: his wife Chris of Galesburg; his children, Nicola Hill (late Laurence Msall) of Inverness, Rebecca Zimmerman (Steve) of Palatine, Illinois, Simon Hill (Debby) of Palatine and Benjamin Hill (Jurate) of Chicago, Illinois; his grandchildren, Alex, Samantha, Thomas, Tess, Oscar, Camden, Chloe, Gwen, Dylan, Wyatt, Lucy, Camille and Matilda; and also Moreen Parr (Jeffrey) of Neath. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
In honor of Dr. Hill's love for animals, memorial contributions may be directed to the Knox County Humane Society.
