He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale R. Sward and Bessie Sward Wright (Nelson); his stepfather Donald Wright; and his sister Martha Cinnamon. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Lauritsen; his daughters, Becky Havel (Tom) of Carol Stream and Kathy Naffier (Chuck) of St. Charles; his stepdaughter Amanda Wilkinson (Brian) of Winfield; his close friend Buddy (Australian Shepherd); and his brother-in-law Tom Cinnamon of Normal.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Knox County Humane Society.
