He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Alonso and Marybelle Ramp (Jaques); his sister Mary Lou; his brother-in-law Guy Bates; his parents-in-law, Robert and Allene Humphreys (Young); his grandson Alec James Ramp; and his nephew Robert G Bates.
He is survived by: his children, Jonathan (Barbara) of LaGrange Park, IL, Steven of Gilson, Stacy Shane (Philip) of Burlington, IA, David (Kathryn) of Hampton, IL and Benjamin (Kathleen) of Geneseo, IL.; his wife Sally J. Humphreys; and his grandchildren, Nathan Ramp (Cassandra), Rachel Ramp, Aaron, Bethany Shane, Sarah, Rebecca and Elizabeth Ramp.
