He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Brown and Essie Brown (Sandidge); his former wife Mary Lou; and his sisters, Eileen Boden and Dellann Allen.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Joyslin (Kimble) of Monmouth, IL and Terrie Houk of Prairie City, IL; his grandson Justin Joyslin (Kelli); his daughters, LaceAnn Martin (William Jr.) and Tabatha Houk (Ron Decker); his great grandchildren, Claire and Caleb Joyslin; his grandchildren, Milo, Olivia, Avigail, Richard, Theodore Martin, Elayna Sanderson, Drake and Wade Decker; his nieces and nephews, Kenneth Boden (Jessica), Deana Bradford (Tim), Denise Birkenmeyer (Jim) and Burt Allen (Melodie); his stepchildren, Randy Elliott of Eureka, IL, Lealonie Elliott of Galesburg, IL, Tricia Eskes (James) of Atlanta, GA and Robin Elliott (Lisa) of Galesburg, IL; and his pet Skippy. He is also survived by 4 step-grandchildren, 8 step-great grandchildren, 8 step-great great grandchildren and many other nieces and nephews.
