We are sad to announce that on January 15, 2025, at the age of 89, Jack E. Oakley of Galesburg, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Samuel and Clara Annetta Oakley (Gauges); his son Steven; his brother Gene E. Oakley; and his grandson Logan.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Eileen Anderson of Galesburg; his children, Julia A. Komaniecki (Thomas) of Somonauk and John E. Oakley (Connie) of Colorado Springs; and his grandson Dylan Oakley.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Lawn Memorial Garden (2040 US-150, Galesburg, IL 61401).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church, OSF Hospice, Galesburg or to a charity of the donor's choice.
