With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helga Herta Sheldon of Galesburg, Illinois, who passed away on April 14, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Johann Meier and Else Meier (Kirschbaum); her great grandchild Liam Graves; and her siblings, Anneliese Adler, Therese Stewart and Richard Meier.

She is survived by: her husband William J. Sheldon; her children, Gabriele Stewart of Ridgefield and Michael Sheldon of Seattle Washington; her granddaughter Nichole Graves (Todd) of Ridgefield, Washington; her great grandchildren, Jade Stewart of Ridgefield, Washington and Hazen Graves of Ridgefield, Washington; and her siblings, Jürgen Meier of Nürnberg, Germany and Marlene Eberl (Adi) of Nürnberg, Germany.
