We are sad to announce that on September 6, 2024, at the age of 94, Harlan F. Nelson of Galesburg, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Harlan find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Nelson and Myrtle Nelson (Anderson). He is survived by: his wife Sally Finch; his stepson Mark Finch (Mindy) of Aurora; his grandchildren, Robert, Tony and Hailey; his niece Diana Bush (John); and his nephew Steve Doubet.
Memorials may be directed to The Messiah Lutheran Church in Galva, the Dahinda Methodist Church in Dahinda, or the Galva American Legion Post #45.
