Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Hal Devore of Galesburg, Illinois, born in Burlington, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 86, on February 12, 2024. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dayton Delance and Enid Louise Devore (McGaw); and his brother Kent Devore. He is survived by: his wife Eunice Maxine Cook of Galesburg; his children, David (Helena) of Midland and Lori Dryg (Thomas) of Bettendorf; his sister-in-law Barbara Devore Dinobile of Oquawka; his grandchildren, Jessica Gregg (Matt), Tyler Dryg (Tanja Rombke), Ian Dryg (Jin Chua), Katie Christensen (Phil), David Devore, Jr. (Ruthie Enamorado) and Molly Reedy (Tyler); and his great grandchildren, Avery Gregg, Jackson Gregg, Bryce Gregg, Maren Dryg and Angus Reedy.
