He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Lee and Lavon Marion Orwig (McGarry). He is survived by: his children, Paula Maxwell (Scott) of Warrenton, Rick Orwig of Glen Carbon and Corey Orwig of Galesburg; his grandchildren, Chelsea Randall (Cameron) of St. Charles, Marissa Mucho (Nick) of Wildwood and McKenzie Orwig of Galesburg; his great grandchildren, Ellis and Clara Randall; and his sister Bonnie Westfall of Galesburg. He is also survived by nieces, great nieces, and great nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (2368 W Main St, Galesburg, IL 61401). A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at 1974 N Henderson St, Galesburg, IL 61401.
