He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald F. Madvig and Lillian M. Madvig (Summers); and his brother Leland. He is survived by: his wife Alice Leon Bellamy; his children, Robin Collier (Brad) of Galesburg, Charles "Chuck" Madvig (Peggy) of Phoenix and Donald Madvig (Carolyn) of Bloomington, Indiana; and his brother Wayne Madvig of Galesburg. He is also survived by five grandchildren, 2 step granddaughters, 10 great grandchildren, one step grandson, and 4 great great grandchildren.
