It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Smith of Galesburg, Illinois, born in Brownsville, Tennessee, who passed away on July 6, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dupree Smith and Lue Lillie Smith (Bond); her son Gregory D. Smith; and her siblings, James, J. C. Smith and Mary Ella Smith.
She is survived by: her brothers, Charles Smith (Virgie), Tommy Smith of Topeka, KS, Ollie Roy Smith of Galesburg and Robert Smith of Bloomington, IL; her children, LeVoy Smith (Irene) of Dixon, IL, Timothy Smith (Stacy Albert) of Galesburg, Debbie Smith and Patricia Smith of Galesburg; and her grandchildren, Trevor, David, Nathaniel, Matthew, Alicia, Jason, Quinton, Brett, Seth and Kortez. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
