He was predeceased by: his father Orville D. Mixon. He is survived by: his mother Marie V. Mixon (Brown) of Galesburg; his sons, Deantrae Mixon of Peoria and Maze Onyx Mixon of Galesburg; his grandchild Harlow Mixon; and his siblings, John Mixon (Kelly) of Houston, Texas, Melvajean Brown of Houston and Jackie Mixon of Galesburg.
